Remembering the light during difficult times
Hi Friends!
Today, I want to share something more personal about my entrepreneurial journey. Running a business can feel overwhelming at times. Lately, I've been struggling with keeping my head up during difficult moments – second-guessing decisions, reliving actions I should have done differently, and feeling responsible for everyone's problems.
It can feel isolating, like the walls are closing in. The sheer amount of problems and negativity can be overwhelming. But I've discovered a simple mindset shift that's been helping me cope: remembering who I love and who loves me.
When things get tough, I think about my wife, my dog Sago, my family, and my friends. I love them deeply, and I know they love me back. This simple act of remembrance helps me reframe the negativity and refocus on what truly matters. It reminds me why I'm going through these hardships – to be a positive influence in their lives.
Over the past year, I've realized that on the entrepreneurial journey, our biggest obstacle is often our own mind. The challenges aren't just external – they're internal too. This simple practice of remembering love and connection has become my anchor during stormy times.
I'm curious – what helps you stay grounded when things get overwhelming? How do you remind yourself of what truly matters?
Until next time, remember who's in your corner!

P.S. Sometimes our greatest strength comes from remembering who we're fighting for. Who are you thinking of today?
