An Unexpected Discovery: Rethinking My Commute

Hi Friends!

I recently had an eye-opening experience that made me question a long-held assumption. It all started when I had to take the bus to work because my wife needed our car. Here's what surprised me:

1. Convenience: I realized there are two bus stops right outside my house that I pass on my daily walks with Sago.

2. Efficiency: Sometimes, it's even quicker than driving, thanks to bus lanes and HOV lanes during rush hour.

3. Cost-Effective: I found myself saving on gas and parking.

4. Productivity: The biggest surprise? I could use my 30minute commute for work, adding up to about 4 hours of productive time over a week.

This experience made me realize how easy it is to get stuck in habits without questioning them. I had always assumed driving was the best option for me as a professional, but this change in routine showed me otherwise.

Of course, I know my situation is unique. Many cities, especially in America, don't have efficient public transit. But it got me thinking: What other assumptions might I be making without realizing it?

I'm curious about your experiences. Have you ever had a moment where changing your routine led to an unexpected benefit? Or are there any habits you've been meaning to reconsider?

Until next time, here's to keeping an open mind!
